Scholarships

Because rising tides lift all ships

Investing in Each Other

MilMoneyCon exists to bring military-connected financial professionals together to grow, connect, and move their careers forward. We believe in camaraderie, shared purpose, and lifting one another up.

Each year, members of our community and mission-aligned partners invest in scholarships to help expand access to the full MilMoneyCon experience. These scholarships remove barriers, create opportunities, and support professionals who are building meaningful careers in financial services while navigating the realities of military life.

Scholarships are not just financial assistance. They’re a reflection of who we are as a community. When one of us rises, we all rise.

Active duty

The Donovan and Bank Foundation Active Duty Scholarships

The Donovan & Bank Foundation is investing in active duty service members who are building or preparing for careers in financial services.

Donovan & Bank provides education and advocacy for retiring and separating Special Operations personnel, helping them transition to a life of peace, contentment, and balance. Their work centers on supporting service members as they move from military service into their next chapter with clarity and purpose.

In that same spirit, they’re sponsoring five scholarships to help active duty professionals invest in their professional growth while still serving.

Three recipients receive:

  • MilMoneyCon conference ticket
  • Two-night stay at The DeSoto

Two recipients receive:

  • Full conference ticket

Recipients are responsible for their own travel expenses. One scholarship per person.

Application Deadline: March 10 at 11:59 PM ET

All applications must be received by March 10 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Applicants must be on active duty status as of May 6, 2026, and complete all required materials within the application form. You do not need a hotel reservation to apply for this scholarship.

Full participation changes the experience

PIM Tax Host Hotel Participation Scholarships

Thanks to the generous support of PIM Tax Services LLC, MilMoneyCon26 will award 10 Host Hotel Participation Scholarships, each covering two nights at The DeSoto, our official conference hotel.

Founded by Paul D. Allen, CFP®, MQFP®, EA, a U.S. Navy veteran, PIM Tax Services is a veteran-owned tax planning and preparation firm based in Virginia Beach. Guided by the concept of a Plan of Intended Movement, PIM helps military families and individuals move confidently toward their financial goals through thoughtful tax planning and transparent, high-quality service.

In support of expanding access to the full MilMoneyCon experience, PIM is sponsoring 10 Host Hotel Participation Scholarships.

These scholarships are intended to support attendees who would otherwise shorten their stay, stay off-site, or face financial constraints in booking at the host hotel.

Staying at The DeSoto means being in the middle of conversations, spontaneous connections, early-morning coffee meetups, and late-evening idea exchanges that make MilMoneyCon different. This scholarship helps ensure more attendees can fully engage in the experience.

Who It’s For:
Attendees who have already purchased a ticket and for whom lodging support would meaningfully impact their ability to stay at the host hotel.

Covers:

Requirements:

  • MilMoneyCon26 ticket purchased

Recipients are responsible for their own conference ticket and travel expenses. One scholarship per person.

Military Spouses & Coast Guard

The Stueve Military Spouse Scholarships

Support for these scholarships is provided by Tim Stueve (USCG Retired) and Cherie Stueve, who understand firsthand the professional interruptions and sacrifices that often come with military life. During Tim’s 20-year Coast Guard career, Cherie experienced significant delays in higher education, certification, and career-building opportunities.

Together, Tim and Cherie are investing in six military spouses or Coast Guard members who are building or growing careers in financial services.

Six first-time attendee recipients will receive:

  • A MilMoneyCon26 conference ticket

Recipients are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses. One scholarship per person.

Application Deadline: March 10 at 11:59 PM ET

Applications must be submitted by March 10 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Applicants must complete all required sections of the application form to be considered. If this opportunity aligns with your professional goals, we encourage you to apply.
