Some of the best learning at MilMoneyCon comes from people in our community being willing to share what they know.
Maybe you’ve developed a better way to do something in your work. You’ve learned a lesson the hard way. You’ve built expertise that could help someone else. You’ve discovered a tool or process that’s changed how you work. Or you have an idea that could start an important conversation.
We want to hear about it.
You don’t need to be a professional speaker. We’re looking for people with useful knowledge, experience, skills, and ideas who want to help others learn and grow.
For me, the best MilMoneyCon sessions are about sharing what you know in a way that helps someone else learn, grow, or do something differently.
That’s what “rising tides lift all ships” means to me. We all bring different experiences and expertise to the room, and we all benefit when we’re willing to share them.
If you have something you’d like to share with the MilMoneyCon community, I’d love for you to consider applying.

MilMoneyCon sessions should give people something they can use, think about, discuss, or do differently when they leave the room.
We’re interested in topics that can help people:
You don’t have to know everything about a subject to teach something valuable. We’re interested in what you’ve learned, what you know well, and what you can help someone else understand or do better.
MilMoneyCon educational sessions are not sales presentations or promotional opportunities.
You’re welcome to draw from your professional experience and work when it’s relevant to what you’re teaching, but sessions cannot be used to sell or promote yourself, a company, product, service, program, book, membership, or other offering.
If your company or organization is interested in presenting educational content while receiving recognition for your organization, sponsored breakout opportunities are available separately. Email [email protected] for information.
MilMoneyCon brings together financial professionals with ties to the military community.
That includes financial planners and advisors, coaches, counselors, educators, tax and accounting professionals, CPAs, EAs, insurance professionals, people working in banking and nonprofits, government employees, students, and professionals building careers and businesses throughout the financial field.
Our community includes active duty, Guard and Reserve members, veterans, military spouses and family members, and professionals whose work serves the military community.
Some people are early in their careers. Others have decades of experience. Some own businesses, while others work for government agencies, nonprofits, financial institutions, universities, or other organizations.
What brings everyone together is a connection to military life and an interest in learning from and helping one another.
For sessions about building and growing businesses, creating income, entrepreneurship, hiring, products, services, sales, writing, and making the business side of your work actually work.
For sessions about career development, transitions, certifications, education, professional growth, marketing, visibility, and figuring out what’s next.
For sessions that help people get better at the work they do, including client work, communication, financial counseling and planning techniques, government and military processes, tools, and practical approaches.
For sessions exploring what’s changing and what’s ahead, including research, regulation, technology, AI, innovation, emerging trends, and new ideas shaping our profession.
Not sure where your idea fits? That’s okay. Choose the track that feels closest when you apply.
MilMoneyCon27 is accepting submissions for three session formats.
Breakout Sessions are focused educational sessions designed to give people practical knowledge, ideas, or strategies they can use in their work, career, business, or with clients.
This may be a good fit if you want to teach a specific topic, framework, approach, lesson, or strategy and give people time to dig into it with you.
Selected Breakout speakers receive one complimentary MilMoneyCon27 Pass.
Power Up Workshops are hands-on.
Instead of spending 75 minutes primarily listening, people should be working through something, practicing a skill, using a tool, solving a problem, or creating or accomplishing something during the session.
Think about what someone could walk into the room not knowing how to do and leave having actually practiced or created.
Selected Power Up Workshop speakers receive one complimentary MilMoneyCon27 Pass.
Have you found an AI tool, agent, workflow, prompt, or use case that’s helping you work smarter, solve a problem, save time, or do something differently?
Show us.
AI Show & Tell is a short, practical demonstration of something you’re actually using. This isn’t a presentation about the future of AI. We want to see what you’re doing with it and how it works.
AI Show & Tell presenters must be registered MilMoneyCon27 attendees. A complimentary conference pass is not provided for this format.
Not every session at MilMoneyCon27 is selected through the public speaker application.
Power Talks are curated by the MilMoneyCon team and are not an application format.
All Hands sessions and panel discussions are also developed separately and are invitation-only.
Selected Breakout Session and Power Up Workshop speakers receive:
Travel, lodging, meals outside of included conference programming, and other travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the speaker.
If selected, we ask that you:
