Our Attendees

MilMoneyCon is a community of financial professionals united by military service. We’re made up of financial counselors, coaches, planners, educators, and students working in government, financial institutions, private practice, or establishing a financial career.

Our mission is to rally military financial professionals and propel their careers, businesses, earning power, and network to the next level.

Session Types

Breakout Sessions

A single subject matter expert leads breakout sessions to help attendees continue their education, develop skills and grow their knowledge.

Breakouts Sessions include a presentation followed by audience questions and presenter answers.

The sessions are 30-45 minutes in length.

Panel Discussion Sessions

Panel Discussions are sessions led by a group of subject matter experts to share their diverse perspectives and knowledge to help attendees develop their skills and grow their knowledge.

Panel sessions include one moderator to guide the conversation and three panelists to share their expertise and answer audience questions.

The sessions are 30-45 minutes in length.

To apply to speak, you will need to fill out the speaker submission form with the following information:

  • Contact information, bio, and headshot
  • Confirmation of speaker terms
  • Presentation title and description (150 words or less)
  • Session track you are applying under
  • Type of sessions (breakout or panel discussion)
  • Names of the other panelists and moderator (panel sessions)

The two types of sessions are: Breakout and Panel Discussions

  • Breakout sessions are 30-45 minutes for the presentation and Q&A
  • Panel discussions are 45 minutes with one moderator and three panelists

There are four tracks to speak under:

  • Earn (entrepreneurship, writing, hiring, products, sales, services)
  • Future (industries, research, regulation, trends, technology)
  • Grow (career transitions, certification, education, marketing)
  • Practice (communication, government, military, processes, techniques)

Speaker submissions will close on December 6, 2024, and speakers will be notified and announced in rounds.

Breakout speakers will receive a free Power Pass to the conference, and selected panelists and moderators will receive 30% off their conference pass of choice. Speakers are responsible for their travel, meal, and hotel expenses.
