Stacey Pennington currently serves as a Supervisory Military and Family Readiness Program Manager for a stand-alone Air Force Reserve Base with Army and Marine Corps tenant units. She provides subject matter expertise gained from 23 years as a Military Spouse, 15 years as an Accredited Financial Counselor, and 8 years as a Federal Career Coach and Job Search Trainer. Before her assignment to the Air Force Reserve Base, she supported Sailors and Marines at Naval Support Activity South Potomac in Dahlgren, VA and Indian Head, MD with the Fleet and Family Support Center. At Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, she earned her highest civilian achievement, a Commander’s Award for Civilian Service from supporting 2K Families of Fallen Service Members as the SOS Financial Counselor. Throughout her career, Stacey has impacted Service Members from all branches as a facilitator of congressionally mandated programs in areas of education and training, and coached military spouses to build resilience and confidence in skills. Stacey is renowned by her peers for her capability to share knowledge, dedication to assist others with empathy, and sought after as a subject matter expert in the career field.
