Since 2014, Monique has been committed to advancing the financial well-being of military families. Her journey began with obtaining the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) designation as a FINRA Military Spouse Fellow and volunteering with the Army’s Financial Readiness Program. As an active duty Army spouse of 10 years, she has since served as a DoD-contracted financial counselor at multiple Army installations and has continued to volunteer with local military support organizations.
Monique now proudly holds the position of Blue Star Families’ JP Morgan Chase DEPLOY Financial Wellness Fellow. This fellowship, aligned with Blue Star Families’ Campaign for Inclusion initiative, focuses on diversifying and expanding leadership within military communities. Driven by her dedication and personal experiences, Monique continues to advocate for financial wellness and military spouse employment.
