David Smith, CDFA®, CQS™, ChFC®, CASL®, D.M.D., Ret LtCol, USAF, and owner of Sand Oak Divorce Solutions LLC, has 17 years’ experience as a financial professional, and broad unique skills as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Certified QDRO Specialist™, Chartered Financial Consultant, Financial Organizer, Coordinator, and retired military dental officer. He went through his own divorce 43 years ago and helps individuals – military or otherwise – answer financial questions related to divorce.
David holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations; his life, health and variable annuity license, and focuses on providing the education couples need to understand and more peacefully resolve the financial issues of their divorce. He provides hourly or flat fee based divorce specific advice and does not sell any financial products nor receive any commissions throughout the divorce process.
David is married, has two adult daughters, and enjoys early morning walks, listening to podcasts, composting, and recycling as much as possible.
