Jex is a Marine veteran and Army spouse. She has a Master in Secondary Education, a Master in Business Administration, and is an Accredited Financial Counselor®. She worked as a Budget Technician and then Budget Analyst for the US Army for 2.5 years, served as the Treasurer and Financial Analyst of a non-profit organization for three years, worked as a financial paraplanner for two years, and is now the founder of a financial education and coaching business, FinanciFI, which gives small group presentations to military, veterans, and families with school-aged children. She also enjoys working with clients one-on-one on a variety of topics, especially cash flow, budgeting, and debt paydown strategies.
