Izzy Carnes is a lead planner at Redeployment Wealth Strategies. Before joining the RWS team in 2020, Izzy provided budget counseling and financial assistance to service members and their families for 14 years at a military non-profit organization. She holds the designations of Accredited Financial Counselor® and Military Qualified Financial Planner®. She is also pursuing her Certified Financial Planner® designation while studying Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University. In her free time, she provides pro bono financial counseling services to military veterans through the partnership between the Veterans Benefits Banking Program (VBBP) and AFCPE. She is a first-generation immigrant native to Okinawa Japan, she lives near Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point with her retired Marine husband.
