Cherie Stueve is currently a Senior Content Lead at Dalton Education. She pivoted her accounting career into personal finance with the FINRA Foundation Fellowship for Military Spouses to earn the AFC® marks. At Kansas State University, Cherie earned a PhD in Personal Financial Planning and a certificate in financial therapy, while also teaching and conducting research. Her dissertation explored help-seekers’ perceptions about the terms of financial planner, counselor, coach, and therapist. Working in financial wellness programs for three years, she conducted thousands of virtual client conversations. Today, she is a subject matter expert in income tax planning and estate planning for CFP education courses and exam review programs.
