As the Founder and CEO of LifeCents, Blake Allison has a distinguished career advancing financial health and well-being across the United States and internationally. In 2005, he founded Financial Education & Literacy Advisers (FELA)—since renamed to LifeCents—as one of the first private, socially-responsible enterprises to develop a technology solution to improve consumer financial wellness and financial security. Under Blake’s leadership, LifeCents has received multiple awards recognizing the business as an innovative and transformative company. Most recently, LifeCents was named by Fast Company as finalist in its 2022 World Changing Ideas Awards in the Wellness category. Blake was named one of the Tech 100 Executives by the Northern Virginia Technology Council in 2019. Blake has been tapped to serve in a number of community leadership positions where he also has contributed greatly to the progress of financial wellness, including being named a Professional Fellow with the U.S. State Department.
