Attiyya Ingram is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated, with honors, from Hampton University with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Attiyya found her passion for helping others gain control of their financial well-being when she began volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. During this same time, Attiyya expanded her financial education by attending Boston University and earning a graduate certificate in financial planning.

As a committed community servant, Attiyya has also volunteered her financial management expertise at VITA offices as an Internal Revenue Service registered tax preparer.

All of this work culminated in Attiyya’s selection as a 2011 Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Military Spouse Fellow. This coveted fellowship authorized her to intern with the Army Community Service’s Financial Readiness office, further contributing to the financial health of her military community. In 2012, Attiyya successfully completed the fellowship and was designated an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC)®.

Attiyya began Ingram Financial Management in 2011 to provide trusted personal income tax preparation and financial education. Her areas of expertise include; Military Tax Matters, Multi-State Returns, Small Businesses, Residential Rentals, and the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion. She authored The MilSpouse Guide to Using the Military Spouse Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) as a resource to her community to prevent over-taxation. Attiyya participates in the optional Internal Revenue Service Annual Filing Season Program as a commitment to the professionalism she aims to offer each client.

As the spouse of an active duty Marine and mom of three young adults, Attiyya has first-hand experience in both the challenges and rewards of military life.
