Alan Nelson is a retired submarine officer pivoting to the financial services industry. Upon transitioning from the Navy, he initially considered becoming a financial advisor but was disheartened by an industry that appeared focused on high fees and commissions over genuine client support. Instead, he transitioned to high tech but quickly found himself teaching financial literacy to engineers as he had in the Navy. Now, Alan has returned to his passion for helping others by earning his CFP certification and launching Measured Money Maneuvers LLC in July 2024. His mission is to provide a transparent, client-first approach to financial life planning at a reasonable cost, empowering and coaching individuals to help them live their best rich lives. Alan actively teaches financial literacy and career transition through eight organizations, blending his expertise with a deep commitment to educating and uplifting others, which subsequently also serves as an ongoing prospect pool.
