Matthew Schwartzman is the legislation and military policy director for the Reserve Organization of America (ROA): the only national military organization that solely and exclusively supports the Reserve and National Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsible for the management and execution of ROA\u2019s government relations program, Matthew spearheads the development and implementation of a legislative and military policy portfolio that sustains reserve component readiness and provides for an adequate national defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew graduated from Towson University in 2019 with a bachelor of science in political science and has been an advocate in the defense and veteran\u2019s policy arena for more than five years. Matthew\u2019s experience in government affairs began at just 17 years old when he testified before a local town hall in opposition to a proposal to place speed bumps on the road where his family\u2019s house was located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
